RFL offers a range of services for local businesses.

Meeting space: Our Small Meeting Room is available for meetings, document signings ... it's even been used as a neutral location for hiring staff. It has a large screen TV for videoconferencing and an ethernet connection direct to our fiber line. And it's ADA compatible, in case your office isn't.

Printing: We're not a copy shop, but we're open late, and can print in color, grayscale or B/W on those days when the office printer just won't. Bring in the file (PDF preferred) on a thumb drive or email it to rutlandfree@rutlandfree.org along with 25 cents per page (B/W, 50 cents for color).

Internet: Free 24/7 WiFi that reaches the street, or come in and use our computers with direct fiber-optic connections. Look for Rutland Public, connect, then open a web browser to log in. There is one login screen, but no password.

Knowledge: From our large nonfiction collection to librarians with Masters of Library and Information Sciences degrees, if you have a question, we probably have an answer you can trust.

Weiss Financial Ratings has impartial information on stocks, mutual funds, exchange traded funds, banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and medigap plans.

Vermont Online Library provides a number of business-oriented databases (listed below) along with a wide range of special-interest listings. These are typically drawn from a wide range of professional magazines, newspapers, and trade publications. So you can keep up on your professional reading with one source or a handful. 

• Gale Business Collection provides coverage of all business disciplines, including accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management and strategy, as well as business theory and practice. Users will understand the activities of companies and industries worldwide through business and trade publications, complemented by a selection of international, U.S., and regional news publications. 
• Gale Business: Entrepreneurship Learn how to start, finance, or manage your small business. Includes sample business plans, how to guides, articles, and more.
• Gale Business: Insights Research global companies and industries with in-depth analysis through current news, statistical data, and comprehensive reports.
• Gale OneFile: Business Understand the activities of companies and industries worldwide through leading business and trade publications. Updated daily.
