Oct 7, 1767 Bechet, Mass\n\nd. Sept 19, 1832 she d.\n\nNotes: - At the age of 18 served in an expedition to \nCanada during the French & Indian War; came to Arlington, Vt \nabout 1764 was much respected and very serviceable to that \ncommunity. Was a millwright by trade.\n\nAt the commencement of the Rev. War he entered \nthe army again. In Montgomery's operations against St Johns \nCanada he was sent forward to reconnoitre the position \nof the enemy. Within a few miles of St Johns he had \nsecreted his boat and had scarcely left it when he met \na party of Indians who took possession of it.
