Sept. 4, 1804; removed to Michigan\n\n#### NOTES\n\nZebulon Moses was the son of Zebulon and his wife Sibyl Moore dau. of Amos Moore of Simsbury, Conn. His name is found on a Rutland, Vt. deed. He was a soldier of the Revolution in 1780 in Col. Allen's Vermont Regiment.\n\nThe History of Livingston Co., N.Y. published in 1905 contains the following information: \" Zebulon Moses, came to Lima, N.Y. from Rutland, Vt. in 1791 and acquired a tract of land in Lima village. His son Luther was a soldier in the War of 1812 and participated in many notable engagements along the Niagra frontier.\n\nIn an old cemetery a mile from the farm on which he died is a marble slab broken and lying on the ground.\n\n\" Zebulon Moses died Aug. 30, 1808 aged 54. Hannah his wife died Mar. 23, 1860 aged 92 \"\n\nHe was twice married and almost certainly in Vermont. He had three sons by his first wife Phebe. "}
