I p. 229) returned to go on\nto proposition to Schenectady in 1780, also reported\nto several towns with Col. Harvey's Vermont\nin that year. Went to Wallingford on 1783\non 1784 being appointed proprietor clock at the\nfirst meeting held in Wallingford on 1783. Has been\ncalled Blacksmith and surveyor. In 1798 Samuel\nBeach of Whiting was called Clayton.\nOn Oct. 22, 1778 was sold wit a lot to Samuel Beach\nin Rutland.
