Library as soon as I got your letter. the Historical Collections of the\nIn\n\"Vital Rocords\", is this entry under \"Marriages\",\nSalisbury Association, Volume II, page 94, under\nNorthrup, Elizabeth and Obadiah Chapman,\nboth of salisbury,\nmarried Moh.\n9, 1775, by J. Lee.\n(This is the Rev. Page 12 -\nNorthrup,\nMr. Joseph.\ndied Sept. 23rd, 1785, ae. 69\nMrs. Allen Northrup,\ndied Sept. 12, 1784, ae. 66.\nwife of Mr. Joseph Northrup,\nI believe this great-great-great grandfather of mine was in the Revolution as found a pension for a Joseph Northrup who fought aoross the state line in\nHaven't taken the time to\ncheck up as vet.\nI have thought it quite probable that or Allyn, might have been related to Ethan Allen.\nJoseph's wife whose maiden name was Allen\nJoseph Chapman\nwas born in 1776 during the first part of the Revolution; his\nfather and mother were married a month before the Battle of Lexington.\nObadiah could not leave home.\nPerhaps\nhim\nI do wish we could find some kind of service for\nvears ago I visited the graves of Joseoh and DorcaseChaomen in che\nThe last\ntime I\nwas in Vermont I tried again\nto Locate\nrhe se\ngraves a could montana the\nIt your searching ceme\ntaried ever takes you there,\nsend to me.\nplease\na note of these two graves and\nMar or old\nMy Chapman line is - Emily Chapman (Fish) Blaisdell - my mother\nMarsha (Chapmen)\nFish,\nmy grandmother\nwife of Inos C.
