Ile and his wife Elizabeth were members of the Congregational Choir at West Rutland\nfor many years.\nHe was a Revolutionary pensioner.\n\" In active\nservice and as\na \"Vinute Kan\" subject to call, he served\nthroughout the revolution.\nServed as follows:\n1775 enlisted\nand marched to New York and: Long Island under\nCol. Andrew Ward, conmander for ten weeks\n1776 Sept. marched, to Fort Washington, thence to Fast Chester thence to, White Plains where he was in battle, then\nretreated to lorth Castle, was discharged there by Col.\nGraves having served 2 mo and one half.\nWas called\nand morched in the lilitia at the time the Danbury Stores\nWere burned..\n• 1777\nDec. marched with the Militia to\nNew Haven served there\ntwo\nmonths under Gen. Andrew Hard\n1778 Was under command of Capt. Timothy lunger and served one month.\n1780\nApril\nserved six months under Capt.
