WALKER\n41 PLEASANT ST.\nTHOMASTON, CONN.\n\nFeb 16 1959.\n\nDear Madam:\n\nI wonder if you have any records\non James Walker born May 1, 1757\nin Danville Scotland, came to America\nwith General Burgoyne and when Burgoyne\nsurrendered he later joined the American\nArmy at Palmer Inn. and served\nat various times during the Revolutionary\nWar amounting to one year and eleven\nmonths as a private with the Marines. Notes\nafter the War he lived at Greenleaf Maps\nraised a family. In about 1805 he\nmoved to Pittsford, Vt. About 1835\nhe lived at Pittsford, Vt. where he\ndied July 1, 1849. His first wife\nSarah Field. His second wife\nHe received a pension.\nWhere he is buried.\nI have searched all of the Cemeteries at\nBrandon, Pittsford and Rutland. Could find\nno stone.\n\nYours,\n\nLeon M Walker. "}
