{"page_2": " NOTES\nEzekiel Beebe, 2nd served in the French and Indian War\nin the following\n\" History of New Milford, Conn. \"\n24, with\nJohn enlisting the 27th, Ezekiel on the 22nd and Samuel on the 15th.\nRecords of French and Indian War, brought\nLong Island to Pomiret,,\nVt. when the family moved in 1770.\nSamuel Beebe\nAmong the soldiers named were Ezekiel Beebe,pee. Vol 261 and John Beebe.\n\" N.Y. Gen. and Biog.\nThe last name of his wife has not been found but the fact that Ezekiel' Beebe is found with the Litchfield Co. Beebes during the French and Indian War suggest that he may have married into a family of that locality and from the use of the name_ AlLen\nby himself and his sons.\nit would seem that\nthe surname of his vife may have been Allen.\nThree of the older sons of Ezekiel Beebe are identified in Pension Records and land records of Vermont,.\nas follows:\nNational Archives:\nJuly 27, 1818\nAllen Beebe of Vermont\ntestified for Ezekiel Beebe,\ncert. No.\nthat my brother Ezekiel,\nformerly\nAlexander\nof Rutland, Vt.\nin Rutland Co.\nas a private.\n• Pension commenced\nthen age 80 dropped under Act\nof May L,\n1820,\nrestored March 1823.\nFrom Pittsford,\nland records, it\nis thought that Ezekiel II died before 1824.\nis found the following:\n'BeDe, late\nIf ut. ranal Beebe, June i785.\nestate of Ezekiel\ndoy 19, 1779 at Vilwanan, lass.\nEzekiel (1) having died\nIt is my impression ( Mrs. Swan) that Ezekiel Beebe (II) died prior to 1800 for the Census for Rutland, that year lists MARY BEEBE- 45 yrs of age and up with\na daughter or gand-daughter under ten years of Ezekiel,\nthe 120 Sensus as tan tutiana, Vt.\nalthough he is listed ", "page_3": " Fizeliel Beebe, II cont'd.)\nAccording to notes of Irs.
