He eldest son Ethel\naccompanied him in all of his military movements.\nAfter the war he returned to New Fairfield Conn.\nwhere he lived until 1793 when he removed to Pittsford\nVt. He made the first improvements and located\non a farm in Whigley Hollow.\nHe resided during the latter part of his life\nwith his son - Lieut Alfred Burke.
