He married Miss Rebecca Moody on the 24ith of\nJuly 1790, in Kent, Conn. She was bom in Woodstock, Conn., the 30th arch, 1766, a daughter of Qliver and (- oodey (loody) and diod the let of April, 1863 aged 97 years 1 month in Rudiand, Vh. 5. Freenn was, honselt, bom a slave mt12 eighteen years of age, when she obtained her freedom.\nMr. Freeman appeare to have led a very colorful life.\nAceording to hie Revolutionary War Pension, which he received by Special Aet of Congress on the 25th June, 1834, he enlisted for three yours in the Revolutionary War and served at various tinos, ar a walter to Capt. Ransom and Major Cogewell of the Waggon Department. The wimesses vere Charles K. Williams, Chauncy K.\nWillians and Lois A. Freenan, who was residing in her household in the 1850 Censua being aged 17 years.\nRebecca died tho lot of April, 1863, and the Will was admitted to Probate and filed the 20th of July, 1863, following the death of her daughter Rebecca, Jr. Who had died the 17th of July that sane year, intestate. This Will was approved the 21th dayuf Auguet 1863. Roxanna Duncott, Joseph Taylor and Charity laylor being \"agerieved\" at the ordor of the decree, filed for an appeal to the County Court on the 2nd of September, 1863. The aprend. was rejected by the Court and the original Will was allowed to stan?. Finelly, on the l0th of February, 1368, five years after the County Court ruling, Winelow Jaelison and Loia Ann Jackson of Worcester, ass., having been \"injured by the broach of a bond\" executed to the said court by Chauney K. Willians of Rutland afsd with surities dated 20 July AD 1863---request that the said bond be put in suit agreeable to the statute in such cases made andaprovided.\" Finally on the ilth January 1875, Mr. Williams paid Lois A.
