We are happy to take most books that are in good condition, no encyclopedias or text books please. Donations are accepted any time the library is open and your donation is tax deductible.Come to a Booksale
The Friends of the Library run booksales three times a year to help raise money for library projects and facilities. Booksale money has paid for new curtains in the library and library programs. Drop in and see what they have to offer.Schedule a Tour or Visit
Our Outreach Librarian will happily come to your school or group meeting and give a presentation about the library's collection services tailored to your group's interests. We also do tours of the library.Come to a Trustees Meeting
The Rutland Free Library Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public and happen on the second Wednesday of every month from 5 - 6:30 pm.Join the Friends
The Friends of the Library help the library in many different ways. Their meetings are on the second Mondays of the month at 7 pm.
