• Thanksgiving hours, Weds. & Thurs.

    We will be closing at 5:30 PM on Weds., Nov. 25 and close all Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26. We reopen Friday morning at our regular 10 AM time, with play group starting at 9:30 AM in the Fox Room.

    Scott, our volunteer tech tutor, is back to help with all your troublesome tablets, lame laptops & disappointing downloads. Just drop by the help desk or call ahead (for the complicated questions).

  • Play group in the Fox Room, 9:30 AM Fridays

    Join us and Rutland County Parent-Child Center from 9:30-11 AM Fridays in the Fox Room for play, activities and meeting new friends.

    The library is pleased to be partners with Rutland County Parent Child Center. Together we will host play groups Friday mornings in the Fox Room from 9:30-11 AM. Always free and open to all.

This report was prepared to identify existing deficiencies in the Rutland Free Library building and its systems and to make general recommendations for corrective measures and improvements. The report discusses the building site, building structural system, building weather enclosure and thermal envelope, life safety code compliance, accessibility for persons with disabilities, mechanical and electrical systems.
